mission outreach of central pa

The Mission Outreach of Central PA is an outreach ministry whose purpose is to provide service to community members who need assistance and an opportunity for groups and individuals to help others.  The Mission Outreach of Central PA is a joint mission of the Huntingdon, Northumberland and Carlisle Presbyteries.

How it works

You will participate in five days of service work in local communities within a 30 mile radius of Krislund in Madisonburg, PA.  You will stay 5 nights in comfortable lodging and enjoy delicious meals.  Evening entertainment can include games, campfires, hiking, swimming, and worship.

Who can participate?

This opportunity is perfect for any group of 8-16 individuals who want to provide much-needed assistance to community members.  This experience offers groups the opportunity to grow together, enjoy fellowship, and provide service.

All projects will be located within a 30-mile radius of Krislund.  These projects can include landscaping, painting, home repairs, and light construction.  Krislund will provide materials, tools, and supervision for each project.

Your group can choose any of four weeks in June 2017.  Participants will arrive Sunday afternoon and depart Friday afternoon.  Alternative arrangements can be made if this does not work for your group.

The cost to participate is $375 per person (8 person minimum), which covers lodging, meals, and materials.

We equally strive to teach, instruct, and demonstrate how to live by the teachings of Christ in our work so that the world may know HIM through us.
