Is financial assistance available?
Yes! We believe that all children should have the opportunity to attend camp. If you attend a church, check to see if they offer scholarships. If you require assistance beyond this, please contact our office manager, Mary, to request a scholarship.
Will you make exceptions to the listed ages for campers?
In our experience, most campers are happy being with their peers. In most cases, placing campers in programs outside of their grade level has been unsuccessful. We are also implementing a progression to our camping program and the best way to get the most out of the program is to participate in their grade level.
Do you have to be a Christian to attend Krislund?
No – Krislund welcomes campers of all backgrounds! At Krislund, we seek to build Christ-centered relationships with campers, staff, and our Creator through daily Bible study and worship, as well as experiencing the outdoors. Building relationships on trust, understanding, and the gospel is central to our program.
What will I eat at camp? Can you accommodate special dietary needs?
We are partners on the Pennsylvania Food Program and all meals are FDA qualified, so campers receive healthy snacks and meals! We will be happy to accommodate food allergies and restrictions as long as they are listed on your camper’s registration. For further questions regarding special dietary needs, please contact us.
Can my friend and I stay in the same cabin?
We allow campers to choose one cabin mate during online registration, but cabin mates must be the same age and gender to stay together.
What should I bring to camp?
Packing lists can be found along the left tab!
Can I check-in early or check-out late?
We ask that parents do not bring campers early or leave them late as our staff have a lot of preparation to do outside of the scheduled pick-up and drop-off times.
